Life Lessons from Wordle

Life Lessons from Wordle

I resisted for several months, but I finally succumbed to playing Wordle. It is so strange how a simple game can dominate your thoughts and dreams. Does anyone else wake up thinking about five letter words? Anyway, it dawned on me that Wordle has some significant life lessons for us:

·       Until you risk taking that first step, you can’t move forward in the game.

·       It is important to have a broad vocabulary and it’s never too late to learn more.

·       Learning from our mistakes is crucial. Not paying attention to where we went wrong can cost us time, energy, and sanity.

·       Sometimes the right things are in the wrong places in our lives. We need to be willing to change things around as needed.

·       No matter what you did yesterday, today is a new opportunity to try again.

I suspect that many of you have gained an insight or two from playing the game. I invite you to add your Wordle life lesson in the comments!
